Balser (also spelled Baltzer) Lanabach arrived from Germany and settled with his wife Elizabeth in Elizabethville (now Hagerstown) Maryland. Balser's family later traveled from MD to Pa. on through Shelby County, Ohio, and into Shelby Co.Indiana. The descendants wrote a family history about twenty years ago, and I have a copy of that book. Balser was also related to Conrad Langebach whose descendant was Harry A. Longabaugh, alias the Sundance Kid. Check out my web site I'll gladly share this information with you. Donna B. Ernst
