descendents of Nancy Longfellow/William C. Warwick
Mark Mills Warwick, son of William Warwick & Nancy Longfellow, was my 3rd great grandfather. I'm trying to track down all of his siblings, but I've got contradicting information. I have an 1860 Wisconsin census that lists Nancy and William with children: Walter, Wilson, Martha, Mary A., Rhoda, William, and Scott. Then I have an 1870 Wisconsin census that lists Nancy and William with children: Alice, Minnie, Allen, Mark, Frank, Cyrus, and William.
I realize that they could have had a lot of children and that those in the 1860 census were out of the house by 1870 and that Mary A. and Alice could be the same daughter. But then my question is: what happened to Rhoda, William, and Scott? And why did they name their youngest son William again? And, according to my information, my Grandpa Mark was born in 1858, so he should have appeared in the 1860 census.
Any information to help me sort out this conundrum would be greatly appreciated!
