Thanks John,I'd love to see any information you have. We've traced Andrew from Maryland, to Kentucky, and then to Ohio. A lot of his children went to Indiana, then Iowa, or Illinois. My great-grandfather, William, went to Kansas where he married, lived back in Iowa, and finally settled in Washington as did several other Andrew Longnecker descendants. I do know that one branch chnaged their name to Lonnecker in the 1940's. Andrew Longnecker(b. 1768) married an Elizabeth Rinehart(b. 1780) in Maryland, and I found a listing of an Elizabeth Longanecker(b.1769) married to a Henry Peter Rinehart(b. 1767) in Maryland, but I haven't been able to connect them. Their is also a Jacob Longnecker(b. 1772) who might be connected to Andrew and Elizabeth, but I have no real proof. Are any of these other names familiar to you? There is a Eatwell?Longnecker family reunion held in Iowa every June near Des Moines. I attended last year. I went after meeting a distant cousin, Donald Huntrods, online. His grandmother was a Longnecker and sister to my g-grandfather William. He has been gathering information on the Eatwell/Longneckers for over 20 years, and I was able to get copies of some ancestors pictures. The oldest is Polly Ann Longnecker nee Crouch who was born in 1797, and died 1872. I also have pictuers of several of the reunions in both the late 18th and early twentieth centuries. Feel free to e-mail me at any time. Sandra
