Hi Cheryl,

I think you and I are from the same family. My father
was Gabriel Longo youngest of 12 children and his family
lived on College Ave. in Oakland Ca. The family business was the pottery where my Dad worked with my
Uncle Mike. I recall there was a fish pond at the family home and I remember feeding them cherrios as a little girl. I spent a lot of time there when I was very young, with my Godmother Rosebud. I am interested in learning more of our family history too. I was told by my Dad that his family also lived in Boston when they first moved here from Italy. I didn't know about the New York part. My dad told me that they lived next to Paul Revere's old house in Boston. I just visited that area, it was a charming place with the flavor of italy in the architechture and tiny shops and narrow streets.

My older brother is Stefan and my older sister Lucia. We moved to North Dakota when I was eleven. I know very little about the history of Dad's family, regarding why they moved from the east and what they did for a living there. I know my Dad and my Aunt Julie were born in California being the youngest. I am not sure how many other children were born in California. Let me know if you've had any luck tracing the family tree, I am just beginning. I wish I had asked my Dad more about his family.
I'd like to know the whole story! I Hope you get this I see you posted your message several years ago. It was so
nice to discover your message on this board!
