My grandmother was Maria Longo, probably from Bisacquino Sicily. She married Antonino Alesci. They immigrated as a family on the ss Liguria October 1904 throug New Orleans with five daughters, Rosalia, Caterina, Vita Caterina and my mother Domenica, called Mamie. One son Michele. She was pregnant and gave birth that December to another dau. Vincenza.
