hello domenico...and thank you so much for responding to my post. i would love to hear from you and/or your friend regarding the "longo" family. at this time i am not sure there is a connection as my giuseppe longo was my grandfather who migrated to the usa in 1911. he had one sister who was a twin (the other died at birth as well as other children in this family at a very young age).
giuseppe's father (my great grandfather)
was francesco who was born around 1844-54??
francesco's father was also giuseppe born about 1800-1820. francavilla official offices have not responded to anyother inquiries on this family so i am at a brick wall so to speak. ido know according to records the family lived "via fiore strada"
if you and/or your friend email me and i do not answer it is because i will be away for the next two weeks and i will respond when i get back.....regards barbara
