I am researching Longsdorf family of Carlisle. Undocumented stuff I've gathered on the internet recently indicates that Martin b 1749, Adam b. 1744 and Philip b 1755 (my line) were sons of Heinrich Longsdorf and Elisabeth ?? b Germany.

More of my jottings can be found on:

I have just ordered 3 LDS films that are original church records from Carlisle/Silver Spring Twp. Cumberland County PA.

I am a stickler for primary source confirmation but am always interested in what is floating on the net-it may point us in the right direction.

Have you had any answers to your Longsdorf queries? I just started working on this line a few months ago. We can share notes?

Terry Dillman Moss
