We are genealogy nuts ourselves and also deal in antiques. In our gatherings, we came across a Cambridge University 1964-65 Chemistry Dept photograph. This is a matted and framed black and white photo of the 1964-1965 Cambridge University Department of Organic, Inorganic and Theoretical Chemistry class. There are over 100 individuals pictured in the photo.
Surnames listed on photo/frame:
Blackburn, Brown, Cameron, Carrington, Clarke, Davies, Ebsworth, Elsworth, Emeleus, Fleming, Fromageot, Giles, Harley, Harris, Haslam, Hershey, Hewlins, Higgins, Jarman, Jones, Kennard, Kirby, Kingston, Langue, Looker, Maitland, Mann, , Martin, Mason, Ong, Prince, Reese, Saunders, Salston, Scott, Sharpe, Sondheimer, Schute, Tanner, Taube, Todd, Varey, Williams
The photo itself is mounted on top of a beige-colored solid mat and there are names (presumably of people in the photo) written on the back of the mat. The names are: David Kingston, Mike Hewlins, Brian Looker, David Martin, Trevor Taube, George Clarke, John Hershey, Ian, Vic, Martin, Gordon Jones, Robin Giles, Peter Varey, Henry Fromageot, Winnie (Winifred) Haslam, Gordon Scott (T.G.), Peter Schute, Jerry Davies, Mike Jarman, Mik (M.K.) There are many more people in the photograph than named on the mat.
Knowing the importance of photographs to genealogists, we have listed this photograph on eBay and are notifying all pertinent surnames. This would be a beautiful addition to someone's family photograph collection.

If we weren't genealogists, I'd consider this spam, too. But we understand the importance of these little gems. :-)
