Peter Lugenbiehl, who was on the ship "Brotherhood" in 1750, came from Grossbundenbach in the Palatine. He was the son of Kilian Lugenbuehl of that place.Information is from Carl Boyer's Ship Passenger Lists Pa. & Del. (1641-1825), Newhall, Calif., 1980.He cites "Pennsylvania Dutch Pioneers, The Pennsylvania Dutchman, trans. by Dan Yoder, which is from various official acts in the Palatine State Archives at Speyer.
Peter Lukeapell [sic] bought land in Frederick County, Md., 22 Nov. 1759 [Fr. Co. Land Records, Liber F, f. 867].Peter Lookenpeale (or Lugenbial)wrote his will 25 Aug. 1794, and it was proved in Frederick County 21 Aug 1802 [Frederick Wills, Liber GM#3, f. 15].The tract of land that he owned at that time was called "Adams Fall."He left a wife Catherine; sons Peter, Jacob, and John; and daughters Salamy, Cathrine, and Mary.
Hope this helps.Nancy
