Hi Kelly, I have went over your post and I am now wondering if your Loos's could have a connection with some of mine. My great-great grandfather was William James Loos (W.J.Loos) he was the son of Prof. Charles L. Loos. They lived in many different parts close to and in Kentucky, and since you mentioned Madison, that's close to the Maysville area, in which William lived for a time and where he passed away at. My Loos's were in Ohio, Maysville, KY - Lexington, KY , - and some parts of Tenn. Charles Louis Loos had a son whose name was also Charles L. Loos, now whether the son Charles had a son named after him, I do not know. However you do mention some names that were also in my Loos's name, such as Charlotte Louise, or Louise, and George Loos. Could it be that these are either a sister or brother or cousin to mine, is what I am wondering. Please check out this web site:

at the bottom of the page is a link Autobiographical Information By C L Loos, Charles's memoir's which lists many things he did when he lived in Germany, some of his family, both on his Mother's side and his Father's. Thanks for you time in advance and let me know if anything might fit.
