hello, i'm glad i found this forum. here is the reason for this post. my dad tells me that my grandfathers gramdmothers' (or great grandmothers') name was anna rosette, sister of amos loper. both my dad and grandpa lived in de pere wi. my grampfathers name was norman fisher, born in the late 1890's. my grampa always told my father that his grandmas brother helped found the republican party and all my dad can remember was the last name loper. i got curious and started looking on the internet, and bingo, i found your posts on the genealogy site. i'm not sure if i can be any help to you in your search, but maybe you can help me find out more about amos and his family. thank you for your time.
