Hi David,
I too have studied the migration of Alsatians to that area of Waterloo, Canada and would love to compare notes. My email is andy@yhla.net.
The other Alsatian names you are following sound familiar as well although they are not my direct line. I seem to recall a Schumacher as a sponsor for some family event.
