Hi Karen, My mother is trying to reach you. My grandmother was Elizabeth Bennett Loring Power, daughter of Homer Loring and May Bennett Loring, who was the daughter of Joseph Bennett, born in Bridgeton Maine, was a lawyer and Mass Senator. Joseph was married to Elizabeth R. Lefavour.
Apparently his office was located at 18 Tremont Street in Boston, MA.
I grew up in Ashland, MA, on Waseeka Farm, and probably on the same property on Chestnut Street that was mentioned in an article I found on-line as Joseph Bennett's summer home in Ashland.
Homer Loring is a whole story unto himself, having been the main driving force that created both North Station and the Boston Garden sports facility as a complex (now gone) and he did indeed revitalize many railroads.
