In an issue of Forebears Volume 1 Number 1 June 1994 there is a listing of an Abigal Loud that was born 09 June 1806. She married a John L. Carter on 04 December 1824. John was born 06 November 1799. This info was from a family bible of John L. Carter who lived in South Bristol, Maine and on Loud's Island.
Other info that was listed are family deaths and births.
In this same issue of Forebears there is " Carter to Carter" An 1826 Deed
