My paternal grandmother Lucy Olivia Compton was granddaughter of Lucy Elizabeth Loud and George John Green. I believe Lucy Loud was the daughter of Mark Loud (b. abt 1810 in Kings Norton) and Ann Watton (b abt 1810 of Birmingham). I believe from the Mormon site information that this Mark Loud can be traced back thru James Loud (b. abt 1785)of Maxstoke, son of another James Loud (b. abt 1757), again son of James Loud (b. abt 1734) to another Mark Loud (b. bef. 1706?) but cannot identify their location although it seens that there were several LOUD families in the Coleshill/Maxstoke area. I have not been able to find any information about the family, their occupation(s) or any history prior to this. I believe the William Loud that you mention that married Ann F. is the younger brother of the first Mark Loud I mentioned. Can you provide any more information?
