There were three Loudens on the 1800 Henry County Kentucky tax rolls, they were John, Robert and Thomas, Hugh appeared in 1817, indicating he had arrived at the age of 21, he remained listed through 1823. It is generally thought that Hugh and Nancy McGuire went to Ripley County, Indiana, and Hugh then returned to Henry County after Nancy died.
