I may have information concerning Nell Louden Neff. I believe she was the sister of my grandfather Cyrus Lamar Louden of Carbondle, Ill. I remember hearing of Aunt Nell and a cousin Orin. My father was Robert Oliver Louden son of Cyrus and Gladys Myra Hill Louden. Cyrus and Nell also had brothers John and Rexford. I believe Rexford had a son named Jimmy. My information is from family history as I recall it and from a geneology book about the Rendleman family of southern Ill. My mother was Mary Ellen Rendleman. There is a footnote about Cyrus Louden as follows: Cyrus Lamar Louden (1889-1963), was the son of Oliver H. Perry Louden, b. Nov. 23,1843, Bainbridge/Williamson Co., Ill, died Mar. 3 1924, Carbondale ,Ill (served Co. K. 18th Illinois Infantry during Civil war); son of Thomas Loudon, b. VA, and ___________Mannerling, b. Franklin Co., Ill. Oliver married Mary Ann Russell, b. Oct. 8, 1846, Fredonia, d. Nov 26, 1938; child of Philip Russel
My Grandfather Cyrus divorced and remarried Wilma "Bill" Louden Dad was an only child of Cyrus and Gladys. He passed away in 1969 at the age of 46. He was an engineer for NASA. That whole generation is gone now I may be able to get more information from my older sister. I hope this is helpful. Contact me at jrclaxton@adelphia.net Zoeellen Louden Claxton
