Hi,
I'm very interested in your Abraham and Margaret Louderback family, as I also have an Abraham in my Louderbacks.
Brief Summary of My Louderbacks:
1.Johann DAVID Lauterbach (Louderback), was born 1716 in Stauderheim, Germany(I have his line further back into Germany). He immigrated to America and arrived in Philadelphia on the ship "Samuel", Aug 27, 1739. David married 16 July 1745 Lititz, Lancaster Co, PA, Maria Elisabeth Klein. They moved to the Frederick and Shenandoah Co Va area where 12 children were born to them. Two of the children were:
Susannah (1750-1838)Louderback who married Ernest Friederich Martinie (my ancestors) and Abraham Louderback(abt 1755-?) who married a Margaret, whom I have seen listed as either a Comer or an Ammons(Emmons) 16 April 1786 Rockingham Co Va.
Ernest and Susanna Martinie were in Fayette Co VA (now KY) in 1788 and were in Woodford Co VA (now KY) in 1790.They later moved to Henry Co KY.
Abraham, brother of Susanna Louderback Martinie, also came to Kentucky. When their father David Louderback died in December 1793, 11 of the children (with their spouses)sold their father's land to their brother.According to the 1794 deeds, Abraham Louderback and Margot(Margaret) and Ernest Frederick Martini and Susanna were in the counties of Scott and Woodford so their brother Abraham Louderback signed the deeds for them.I found Abraham was in Fayette Co 1789 and Woodford Co in 1790, so I'm wondering if the two siblings - Susanna and Abraham - came to Kentucky together.
So, I see a lot of similarities between your Abraham and my Abraham.Could they be the same?I think my Abraham had a son William who may have married Margaret Barr.
