My grandfather, Lotus Harry Loudon, was born in Salem, IN on April 2, 1892.He was the son of Willis Kiah Loudon (b. 08-07-1864)and Dorinda Jane Spauling Loudon (b. 05-17-1867).Willis was the son of John Loudon (b.04-08-1838)and Emaline Morris.John Loudon's geneology goes back to his father, John Loudon, born in Ireland in 1798, and John's father, Joeseph, who was born in Irleland in 1766.My "Grandpa Lotus", the eldest, had seven siblings: Havillah Edwin Loudon, Florence Loudon, Helen Mary Loudon, Claude Thomas Loudon, George Trueblood Loudon, Paul Willis loudon, and John Roger Loudon. The last three were born in Southern California, around the turn-of-the century."Grandpa Lotus" was married to Hazel Del Baker, in Santa Fe Springs, CA on November 27, 1912."Grandpa Lotus", who passed away on April 30, 1952, a month after I was born, was the founder and Editor/Publisher of the Anaheim Bulletin. He and my grandmother had three children, Mildred (b. 10-29-13), Lotus Howard (b.01-08-15), and Stanley (b. 08-28-29).Stan is my dad.He is the only survivor of Lotus' three children. He and my mom Jeanette, live in Yreka, CA, where they are semi-retired and still farming.Their e-mail address is [email protected] would be able to give you much more information about my grandfather's family.
In my "generation", there are 8 Loudon surname descedents, 4 boys and 4 girls.
My cousin Chris (son of Howard) has two daughters. My brother Mark, now 40, is not married. My brother Matthew, now 45, has one son, Clinton (age 16).I (age 47)have a six-year-old son, Connor Michael. We all reside on the west coast, in California and Washington.

I grew up much closer to my grandmother's (Baker) extended family in Southern California, but would love to learn more about my Loudon heritage. My wife and I have visited Scotland several times and explore the town of Loudon, near Ayr.
