Wm. Loughery KILLED IN LINE OF DUTY
The Cambridge Police Department in Cambridge, Massachusetts is seeking descendents of Officer William H. Loughery (Loughrey). Officer Loughery was killed in the line of duty on June 26, 1860 in the City of Cambridge. The department wishes to properly acknowledge the sacrifice Officer Loughery made for the citizens of Cambridge by honoring his remaining family members. Known descendents/relations : Sarah Garland (d. 1866), Catherine Higgins(d. 1876), Ann Loughery (d. 1889), William Higginbotham (d. 1898),Robert Robson (d. 1906), John Loughery (d. 1906), Mary M. Loughery (d. 1910), (GRANDSON) WILLIAM H. LOUGHERY Commander/ Constantine Commandery No. 48 Knight Templar NYC (Mason)(d. 1919 at Saranac Lake, NY), Ellen Robson (d.1927), Lucy Ferguson (d.1931), Jeanie Loughery (d. 1944) and Grace P.
