Don't know if my info is any less sketchy than what you may have.
Like I said, my maternal grandmother was Mary Loughney Donnelly. I know that she had at least three sisters, Della, Kathleen (who everyone called "Leen") and Gertrude (Gertie), and one brother Leo. Shortly after I was born in Feb. of 1947, Mary Loughney Donnelly died.
My mother was born in 1912. So I am guessing that Mary Loughney Donnelly, her sisters and brother all would have been born between 1880 and 1900. But I no documentary evidence, i.e. Census records, to verify that.
Kathleen was a teacher in the Pittston Public School Districts for years. Della lived most of her adult life in Manhattan, NYC. Neither married. Gertie married a gentleman named McHale, whose first name is not known to me. Leo married and had two children, Tommy and Mary. Tommy died in a boating accident while a counselor at Little Flower Camp in the early 60s. I don't know what happened to Mary.
Della died in the early 1960s. Gertie and Leen lived for a number of years after the Flood of 1972. The Donnelly home was on Butler Street in Pittston, I believe. It was up on hill overlooking the city.
There was also a cousin, whose name was Genevive (?) Donnelly. I never met her.
I'd be interested in learning whether any of this matches up with people in your family.
