Hi! Great to hear from you. I asked my father for all the information he had on the loughneys. They came from co. Mayo during the civil war. (No exact date). There were five of them, and 3 went west, and were never really heard from again. Turns out I was mistaken, My great granddad is not frank, but John! He married a woman named Nora, and had Thomas, John, Leo, and indeed, Agnes! (she is still alive) I always called her "Aunt Aggie" SO I never made any connection. Thomas married Mabel, John married Grace, and Leo (my granddad) married Mary. They lived all over apparently! Geneva, faiport, shortsville and buffalo. So yes, Leo is Agnes's brother. How wonderful of you to find that out!
Now, I wonder if the missing Loughneys, who went west are my connection to the Utah and Minnesota Loughneys. Or if there is a connection at all.
Any ideas on that one?? I am stumped.
