Loutzenhiser Name...

Hi! I just happened to fall upon this forum while searching my maiden name. I noticed a few different stories of how the name orginated...

Well, we have this genology book that my grandmother researched and researched and wrote. My dad has been keeping up with it since her death. There are 11 or more generations in it so far. The book goes all the way back to a Heinrich (Henry) and Maria Catherine Loutzenhiser (possibly born in the 1700's) It says that emigrated from Germany, probably from Zwiebrucken, a town in the kindom of Bavaria. This is supposedly the first generation of OUR branch of the Loutzenhiser's

Anyway, in our geneology book (which technically is not a book that can be bought...it is a three ring binder that we have added to and added to as babies have been born). it has a totally different story of where the name orginated from. I am VERY confused now! I would be more than happy to share the story that I am told with you guys if you are wanting to know it. It is just very long.

Also, I can look up people in it if you are searching for someone :-).

Jessica
