The Loutzenhiser Name came from the tiny town of Lantzn, Germany near Sohren where our family worked in the fields and harversted the crops. The family showed up abt.1660 in records in the tiny church of Sohren, Germany. (conrad Lautzenhausser, Lautzenhisen....( Haussen...House) Lautzenhaussen ( from the house of Lautzen) The Hahn Airforce base is at Lantz or Lantzhaussen. I have been told by thoes who have visited the area in the Rhinlands of Germany that the people still go out into the fields and harvest like they have done for hundred of years.
