Kurt, I realize that the town changed after the Air Base moved in but back when our families made their home there it was a small quiet little village where the people came out each day and worked in the fields. The Lautzenhisers attended the tiny church in Sohren, which is very close to Launtz, The family records back to 1660 can be found there. I have a picture of the Church. gladys Turman
