I believe we are related. My GGRandmother was Mary Jane Loutzenhiser. She married John Payton. I have no other particulars on her. But....last night I contacted a lady who has more info and is to get back in touch with me after the holidays. She said she was not sure without looking , but My GGrandmother was the daughter of William or Lewis. She believes it to be a William. She did say that 3 of Mary Jane's sisters married 3 brothers by the name of Rupert. From the stories I have heard she was a woman ahead of her times. She was either the 1st or one of the 1st telephone operators in the area. They built a house on a bridge and she lived there and passed the phone calls onto peoples homes. She was quite an outspoken woman from what I understand. I also believe that she was married multiple times. I do not know just yet where she is buried , when she died or anything else but I am working on it. It sounds like we are looking at the same family. You can reach me at mcgrawhoy@kcds.net. A new cousin is always welcome. My Grandmother's name was Stella Elizabeth Payton Grimsley. I know she had 3 brothers. Charles, Gib or Gilbert and I believe John. tm
