Thanks for your offer of help. I certainly need help on this one. I have the 1850 Census, Hamilton County, TN of John & Mary Lovelady and Malind, Elbert, Ephraim & John. (Mary seems a little old to have children this young--not sure they are her children or grandchildren). Her age is probably about 5 years off???

I have made the assumption that M. Henry Lovelady came to Greene County, AR around 1840. His older children were born in Alabama. In the 1850 Greene County, AR census he lives next door to my Jesse Williams family who are from Hamilton County, TN by way of Jackson County, AL (Paint Rock) and who came to Arkansas probably about the time of the Cherokee relocation from Hamilton County, TN. The History of Hamilton County says "Jesse went West with the Indians." My Jesse Williams is incorrectly listed on the 1850 Greene County Arkansas with the surname Adams.

I also have assumed the John Lovelady and Elizabeth (Williams--Jesse's daughter) living two doors down from M.Henry Lovelady & Sarah in the 1860 Census is the son of Henry Lovelady. Mary Williams age 68 is living with them. I am assuming this Mary is the same Mary from the 1850 Hamilton Co, TN widow of John. There is another John Lovelady and wife Eliza in Greene County, AR 1860 Census and I am assuming this one is the son of Mary.

Any help will be appreciated. Thanks
