I am not related to any Loveridge family in any way, however I wanted to let any interested researchers know that I have posted some biographical information on my website about Jefferson LOVERIDGE, b. circa 1843. He served in Battery G, 2nd Illinois Light Artillery during the Civil War, and my website is devoted to this unit. After the war, Jefferson lived in Kendallville, Indiana, and in Illinois and Michigan. The information we have is incomplete, so I do not know where he was born or where he died.

We are trying to gather more information on the men who served in this unit; if you know more about this man, I would appreciate hearing from you.

The website is at:
From there, go to Biographical Sketches section and follow the links.

Or if you have information you'd like to share, please contact me directly at:

I do not regularly monitor this bulletin board.

Thank you.

Linda B.
