James Loveridge Fairbairn d 1916
Posted by: Charles Fairbairn Date: March 23, 2001 at 13:55:33
  of 127

James Loveridge Fairbairn served in the Second Battalion of the Royal Scots Fusiliers.
He was killed in France in 1916, though his memory lives on via his inscription on the Edinburugh War Memorial.

I suspect he may have been named after a granfparent who was a Loveridge- can anyone shed any light on this matter?
