I have James M. Lovvorn and Hannah Smith in my data base. I show James b. April, 1775 Pittsylvania, VA the son of Thomas Loving/Lovvorn 1746-1829. Thomas came from VA to Clark County, GA (1820 census) and died in St Clair County, AL 1829. Thomas' wife was Mary "Polly" Stroup. Thomas was the son of Gabriel Loving (1725-1790) and he was the son of another Thomas b. abt. 1701.

James M. Lovvorn d. 5/23/1825 prob. Henry County Ga. Hannah Smith was born abt. 1780 and died 3/11/1829 Henry, GA. I have these children listed for them: William b. 1/1/1807, James b. 1809, John b. 1813, and Jonathan b. 1820 (all birth years are approximate except William's).

I obtained this information from a book on the Lovvorn family written by Nancy Griffin Lovvorn. I do not have a copy of the book.
