Don't know if your e-mail is still good. I may be able to help you. My tie to your family is through the Lovvorn, Colston, & Eddington families of St. Francois, MO.

I have a death certificate for Walter H. Braddy, b. 18 Mar 1890 at Iron Mountain, MO. His parents were Jasper Braddy & Armenta Moore. He died at Elvins, St. Francois, MO on 12 Mar 1927 from TB.

I have Armenta's, too. Name: Armenta E. Braddy, b. 23 Aug 1863, d. 23 Aug 1939 from cerebral hemmorage. Her parents were William Moore and Elizabeth Wagner.

I think the Bertha you ask about was Bertha Lovvorn, the daughter of James Ivory Lovvorn & Sarah "Sally" Lupkey. Elsie Lucretia Lovvorn was Bertha's sister who married Jesse Prather. I believe this is all correct.

Now, I have a death certificate for a Bertha Emma Wichman, b. 4 March 1888 in St. Francois Co., died 3 Feb 1956 at Farmington. No husband listed, but parents were August Wichman and Fredericka Hoffmeister. This certificate states that Bertha NEVER MARRIED and is NOT Bertha Lovvorn.

If I can help you further, let me know. Cindy Sullivan mjsully@is.netcom.com
