My m-gg-gparents were Jim Lovvorn and Sarah Saxton.
My m-gm was Warddie Bell Lovvorn. Her parents (my g-gparents) were William Arthur Lovvorn (3/31/1862) and Alice (Serina? Marie?) Hammond (12/7/1864). They lived in Alabama, primarily in Cullman County, but I'm told they came from GA.
It's rumored that Warddie Bell's father was Indian, but we have no proof of this yet.
Warddie Bell had several siblings: Woodford Grady; Rufus Hammond; W. Oscar; James (Earl? Carl?; Pearl; Lena; Mae; Carrie; Hazel & Chester.
Several of the Lovvorns are buried at the New Hope Cemetery in Holly Pond, AL. near where the old homeplace of William Arthur and Alice was.
Warddie Bell married Armnes Crumbley (AC), and they had 8 children, and resided in Blountsville, AL.
Lena married Rob Segars. They last resided in B'ham, AL, and had at least one son, and perhaps one daughter.
Pearl married Jim Craft, and they resided in Holly Pond, AL.
James married Alewene Lindeman
Grady married Lula Belle Mitchell and had 4 children.
Mae married Ezra Knight
Hazel never married
Unsure who Rufus or Chester married.
