I know its been a while since you wrote this. I am just starting to research Lovvorn but have a lot of info. that has been gathered byuy a relative. She has take us back from John Samuel Lovvorn (1868-1910 Randolph Co, AL and a brother of James Monroe's) to Gabriel Loving abt. 1725-1790. Differnce is you have a few extra Jameses and Johns. Here is the line she showed me, could you let me know where I can verify yours to mine?

from son to father:
John Samuel -> James N. (some people say James thomas) ->William A. "Billy" ->James William Sr. -> Thomas Lovvorn or Loving -> Gabriel Loving

Any help or advice is appreciated.
