Hi Betty,
Great to hear from you! Yes, you, Dick, and I are definitely related. Mary Loya (Dick's ggrandmother), Thomas Loya Jr (your dad), and Ellen Loya (my gggrandmother) were all siblings. I can't tell you exactly what that makes us, but we are all definitely related. Maybe Dick could help us on that one. I read somewhere that he had some means of calculating relationships. You also have some more relatives in Vermont, as you probably read in the message I posted yesterday. My grandmother Ellen (grandaughter of Ellen Loya), my father Wayne and his sister Theresa (ggrandchildren of Ellen Loya), and my two children Jefferey and Kristian all live in Vermont. I also have a sister who lives in Mass. Keep in touch and I will do the same.
