My grandfather, was Jose Loya Portillo and his mother's name was Benigna Portillo. I have not been able to obtain any information of his parents. He married my grandmother, Adela Giner, and they lived in Parral, Chihuahua, but I remember my grandmother mentioning Camargo, so it is possible that they had lived there at one time. My grandfather was born in 1877 and he died in El Paso in 1921. My uncle Ben Loya, used to mention that he had an Aunt, my grandfather's sister, living in Juarez, but I do not have her name. Not sure that there is a connection with your family, but who knows. Let me know, if you run into anyone that knew of or heard of above relatives. There are Loyas in the city of Chihuahua, but again, I do not have their names.
