Anyone with info - your assistance is greatly appreciated - my grandparents from Mexico - Gregorio Loya and Antonia Chaparro born late 1800's - their children Ramon, Dominga, Rafael, Jose, Esperanza (Hope, my mother), Gregorio, Frank, Antonia, Carlos, Aurora - the grandparents migrated through El Paso,TX and settled in Downey, California
and also
my aunt married to Greg Loya - once told me that she found information on an area in Mexico called El Valle de los Loyas - has anyone heard of such a place - this place was know to be where the majority of the Loyas' originated ???? unfortunately, my aunt passed suddendly and her recordkeeping destroyed in a fire . . . .
