FIRST TIME THIS YEAR---Right, that is! Mike, do the names Leo, Fred, "Doll", Mary and Irene (married Earl Sharrow) ring any bells? They are all LaPines that lived on Forest St. across from my mother when she was a young girl. Also your Frank LaPine was probably a brother of my Joseph LaPine who married Lottie (Charlotte Merritt) who was my mother's aunt. Lottie and Joseph lived in Lake Hortonia (no-they were not fish) where she was the village phone operator. The phone exchange was located in their house. This all comes from todays phone call to my mom. Her visiting nurse showed up at the door, so had to cut the call short.

Do you have the info on how to contact the "Chief" in wheresamajigit, northern Vt.? If you can make contact, it might enhance this whole process.

Cuz Dick
