Pat, I have suspected that Lottie and her brother Harry had different fathers, but can find no documentation. Just found out yesterday that Lottie's mother, Mary Loya was married to Peter Loya, the first of her three husbands. Thomas Jr. was Lottie's uncle and sister to Mary Loya. I'm beginning to think that Thomas Jr. lived with Mary and her second husband William Merritt in Orwell, Vt. Oh, by the way, while looking for Patnodes(and all variants) I ran across Angie E. Patnode WFT Est. 1914-1942 married to Phillips Murray WFT Est. 1883-1903 and died 1955. Any relation? see WFT Vol 3, Tree #3435. I could not find him in the Social Security Index.----Cuz Dick
