Had a long posting for you, but went to look for another post and lost it. Maybe oldtimers disease? Yes, it's complicated. Seems our "family" was a closed group with very little outcrossing. I have even found that Patnods moved into RI about the time that some Loyas did. Coincidence? I think not.
Did you see my post #145? In addition to those family tidbits, I have found several LaPean/Lapine/LaPine marriages to Patnodes/name variants. If we keep this up we may find that I'm your brother, and you are my grandfather.
Just remembered---"Those that can, do. Those that can't do, teach!" I first heard this when I became an AF tech instructor in 1956. I was still hearing it when I retired from Lockheed Martin as a tech instructor in 1998. Course, I had a few other careers between those dates.
