Hi Dick,
I am searching for several names, besides Loya and Doner, that came from Canada. I am searching for my mother's, father's family who were French Canadian. Their name is now spelled Desjadon (originally Desjardin and several other variations). Also, most of the people who married into this family were French Canadian. Some of those names are as follows: Laramee, Lavalley, LaFrancis, Aupry (Opry?. Also, on my mother's, mother's side I am looking for: Lewis and Davis from Canada. And of course there is LaPine. Simply put, I have a lot of work to do in Canada. Thanks for the tips and I hope I get as lucky as you did with the postings! Oh, I'm working on that Patneau descendants sheet you sent me and should have it back to you soon. I am going to put another post on the forum for everyone because I now have the parents of Andrew Doner and the parents of Nancy Patneux. I put it on your sheet also, but check out my other posting. Talk to you soon.

Mike
