You made my day. Nice to meet you, too. I'm so pleased that you responded to my message.

Mary Loya Merritt Atwood was my adopted grandmother's mother; however, she was also related to my mother(maiden name: swenor) because Mary's sister Emma married Fred Swenor and they are my great-grandparents on Mom's side. (As you said, the Swenor, Loya and LaPine families intermarried with one another extensively in Vermont.) I will certainly contact you. Please feel free to do the same with me. Thanks again for your help.
