My grandmother is Josefa Loya Sambrano of San Elizario Texas. The family has been in Texasfor six generations. There is a new elementary school named after her in San Elizario. She had five siblings, all girls but one, so the Loya name continues but not to the same extent if there were more sons. I have information about her siblings and their descendants, as well as her parents, grandparents and greatgrandparents. The Loyas I have info on are Blas Loya (1874-1938), his father Gabino Loya and their families. Please e-mail directly if you have more information for me or if you think I might help you. Marenasmalek@mindspring.com. I will not respond through the forum.

Margaret
