Starting Sept. 5, 2014, Genealogy.com will be making a big change. GenForum message boards, Family Tree Maker homepages, and the most popular articles will be preserved in a read-only format, while several other features will no longer be available, including member subscriptions and the Shop.

Well, I hate to throw a wrench in the whole works, but it would appear that there was another child born to Thomas Loya, SR. and Lucy Doner -- and she has the same birth date as Emma, June 17, 1871 (twins, presumably) and her name is Elizabeth. She married Theodore (aka Theophile) Beaudry in 1888 and proceeded to bear 17+ children throughout NY and VT. She died in childbirth in 1911 in Rutland, VT. I have a copy of her death certificate and documents of some of her children. She is my great grandmother. I am willing to hash this out with those interested!
