Hello Willis, I just had to reply as my Grandmother's maiden name was Loyal(l). My Loyall ancestors were French Huegonots that were forced to flee the Metz area of France in 1686-88. They finally settled in East Prussia near the Russian border in 1711. My GMother came to America in 1908. I have the pedigrees sheet back to the late 1500's on this line of Loyalls. Around 1700 more than 400,000 Huegnots left France for areas all around the world. I also have another line from England that left Calais, France and settled in Kent, England.
Good hunting. Gary L. Wiese, 2532 Smith Road, American Falls, Idaho 83211
