ISO EUGENIO LOYA'S ANCESTORS AND DECENDENTS
Posted by: Del Barrera Date: February 23, 2002 at 21:12:48

Well the only thing I really know is that my Great grand father Calistro Loya was born in Brownsville then moved to the Central Texas region. Cuero, Gonzales, Victoria area. I find his father Eugenio Loya in a census as a teenager in Cameron County as a laborer and with no parents. I know I do have family in Brownsville but my grandmother Angelita Loya Barrera never spoke of them. Eugenio was married once before he married my Great grand mother Angelita Rodriguez. His first wife's maiden name was Cuevas.
I am now in San Diego, CA and cannot visit Brownsville as I wished but if there is anyone out there who can shed some light on Eugenio's parents and maybe further and also meet a new cousin please reply. Thanks
