Hello Loya Cousins
Some time back I posted my family tree but,it was not very detailed,so let me try this again and if anyone of my ancestors names sounds like someone you might have heard of,please contact me.I have been trying for some time,to determine who were the very first Loya,s to settle in the small South Texas town of Penitas,Texas County of Hidalgo, and with the great help of Alex Loya I believe I have found the answer.

1.Great Great Grandfather Enrique Loya married Francisca Longoria.

2.Great Grandfather Blas M.Loya married Andrea Garza

3.Grandfather Vidal Loya married Abelina Salinas

4.My Father Blas M.Loya,Sr. married Amalia Villarreal

Now from my Great Great Great Grandfather and back is what I am still researching, with the help of all of you maybe someday I be able to know the names of the Loya,s who first landed in South Texas and decided to settle down in the town of Penitas,Texas which by the way was founded in 1526,by a Spanish priest Father Zamora and 5 Spainsh Officers.

Blas M.Loya,Jr.
