Putting in my 2 cents (or 2 Loyas)
Posted by: Lou Burns (ID *****2945) Date: August 16, 2006 at 19:59:04

My grandmother was a Loya with a brother named Jose from Chihuahua. Grandmother's first name was Maria (I think) and she married an Italian barber in El Paso named Schiavo. Subsequently moved to PA and then NY. Had 5 daughters and 2 sons. Her brother Jose had a wife and son Hector in CA. Jose died in the 70's and was buried in Watsonville. Uncle Joe took me to my first baseball game in NY. God bless him. Wish I knew more.
