Hi!
In "Historical and etymological dictionary of transcarpathian ukrainians surnames" ("Чучка П. П. Прізвища закарпатських українців: історико-етимологічний словник / П. П. Чучка. - Львів : Світ, 2005. - 704 с." - in Ukrainian) our surname is antroponim. It comes from Croatian male name Miloya. Transcarpathia was settled by the tribe "White Croats" in the VI-X centuries.
