Starting Sept. 5, 2014, Genealogy.com will be making a big change. GenForum message boards, Family Tree Maker homepages, and the most popular articles will be preserved in a read-only format, while several other features will no longer be available, including member subscriptions and the Shop.

1860 census: Thomas Doner age 45 is the son to Thomas Doner, Lara is indeed Lawrence (my great grandfather) and he was born in Canada not New York. Check out the Daunais family tree on Ancestory.com, I have traced back to the 1600's. Hope this helps. Sophia is the Mom. Mary is Thomas Jr.s wife,. Thomas Sr. was born in 1805 in Canada so the ages don't appear correct. Census takers back in the old days had a tendency to screw things up a lot.
