To all Thomas Loya decendants;
Last month I scribbled down some notes during a phone call to my mom. I was just now trying to organize "my room" and it's 10,000 and more scattered sheets of genealogy info when I ran across the notes. My mother's grandmother, Mary Loya, during her later years lived next door to my mother on Forest Street (no. 108 or 112) in Rutland, Vermont. Mary lived with her younger sister Ellen Loya who was married to Frank (?) Lapine (pronounced Lapean). So, y'all have more cousins-the Lapine family. Finally found my Southern Vermont phone book and there are thirteen Lapine/LaPine's listed. The family is growing!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
And another cousin some of you didn't know about, Michael W. Bruce posted to this forum looking for info on Ellen, his gggrandmother. He is the only one I know of that is decended from Ellen Loya. If any of you are in touch with "cousin Mike" please pass this on to him.
PS-there are no Loya's listed in my Vt. phone book.
PPS-if everyone would please send me their mailing address, I will mail some "Ancestal Chart"s for you to fill out and mail to me. I would like to combine all of our families data into one Family Tree and send you all copies. Thanks.
